Hi, I’m Lesley Meinema, the celebrant behind Journeys of Love. I’m a fully Authorised Marriage Celebrant based in Perth.
Over the past 8 years, I’ve had the absolute privilege of marrying many wonderful couples, and I truly love what I do. I’m so glad you’ve found your way to my website.

I guide my couples through the entire process with clarity and care,

Experience the Lavish Luxe Ceremony package, where every detail is crafted to perfection for an enjoyable and seamless wedding ceremony. Your ceremony will be complete by weaving your unique love story into the celebration, personal and ring vows, a PA system for music, and ensuring every word is heard. All paperwork is meticulously handled and lodged, including the legalities. I provide unlimited support to ensure your day is flawless. I include travel within 100 km from my home, a rehearsal.
Legal-Only Elopement Ceremonies

If a legal-only elopement is exactly what you’re looking for, I offer a beautiful, relaxed space at my home where you can complete all legal requirements and be officially married.
This option is ideal for couples who:

Prefer a private, elopement ceremony
Require a marriage for visa or legal purposes
Your legal-only ceremony includes the signing of all required documentation, conducted with care and professionalism, and can be shared with up to 10 guests.
A simple, stress-free and respectful way to say “I do” — without the fuss, but with all the meaning.
Step into a micro ceremony experience with our Low-Key Ceremony package, tailored for those seeking simplicity and a heartfelt ceremony. Professional handling and lodgement of all legal paperwork. Enjoy the convenience of a PA system for your music and vows. Start your journey with an in-person meeting at my home and expect unlimited support every step of the way, from handling legalities to orchestrating a short and sweet celebration. Travel within 80 km of my home. Rehearsals can be added for a small fee.

The Modern Love Package
This all-inclusive package includes a beautiful ceremony delivered with a thoughtfully written script, beautifully styled ceremony decor, tailored for couples who want something intimate, meaningful, effortlessly beautiful and stress-free.
All legal requirements handled (NOIM, registration, lodgement). Pre-wedding meeting (in person or online), Ceremony delivery on the day.

No cookie-cutter scripts, no awkward bits, just a beautiful, meaningful celebration that tells your story in a way that feels natural, relaxed and authentic.
Whether you’re dreaming of something simple and intimate, a big celebration full of personality and fun, or a complete ceremony and styling package to save you time and stress, we make sure your ceremony sets the perfect tone for your day. Blending sentiment with a few laughs, keeping things relaxed while capturing all the emotion and joy of the moment, is at the heart of everything we do.
How It Works
Choosing the right celebrant is about finding someone you feel comfortable with, someone who truly gets your vibe. When we first meet, it’s all about getting to know each other and seeing if we click.
If we’re a match, we’ll chat about your love story, and I’ll guide you through each step of your ceremony. I’ll take care of all the legal requirements, including your Notice of Intended Marriage, which must be lodged at least one month before your wedding day (and can be completed up to 18 months in advance).
Before the big day, I’ll send you a draft of your ceremony to review and refine, and I’ll personalise and print your vow cards so everything feels just right.
On the day itself, I’ll be right by your side, guiding you through every moment until I proudly pronounce you married.
And it doesn’t stop there. Once the confetti has settled, I’ll send you everything you need to apply for your Official Marriage Certificate, a copy of your ceremony, guidance on changing your name, and I’m always here to help if you need anything at all.
